LR:
EBI:A very solid start here: you’ve learned and applied the key terminology correctly. We certainly need to be targeting a top grade from this point.
WWW: A great start, used key terms we have learnt well, we should be concentrating on a high grade in media from now.
1) 1
2) 1
3) 2
4) 2
5) 1 I needed to add one more point. The title is in large letters to attract the consumer.
6) 2 I needed to add an effective reference to the poster.
7) 1 I’m not sure, I read the mark scheme and I believe I should have gotten full marks for this question
8) 3 I needed to add another reference to the poster.
9) 4 i will re-draft
3) No
4) my strongest question was 3/4 as I achieved full marks for both. I new the core t media terminology this is why I got these answers correct.
5) my weakest question was question 9 as I only got half marks. This is because I only had 4 points and I repeated myself.
6)
Charities usually use pictures of children to provoke guilt as children are seen as innocent. Also the consumers may have children themselves so they will feel empathy. The picture is also instantly reconisable as it shows a place with that looks unclean. And the picture is quickly recognisable to the target audience as it is associated with a particular part of the world. Furthermore it is a stereotypical picture of a child, this is used in hope that the audience will recognise this stereotype and help. And children make people want to protect them so this appeals to the target audience who may have children.
