This image represents the backstreets of London. This shows young people of ages maybe 17-19 and they are all mainly black. Furthermore there are females that are in the arms of the males suggesting sexism.
2) Are there any stereotypes you can identify?
A stereotype that young children are violent as one person has a baseball bat ,also it shows females in the arms of males so males are dominant over females.
3) What is the preferred reading of this poster?
That young coloured people are aggressive.
4) What is the oppositional reading of this poster?
People who believe young people are struggling and misunderstood.
